HOOP DREAMS: THE LAST DANCE
The Hoop Dreams series merges materials and forms found on the haute couture runway with the function of a basketball mesh. Originally inspired by the movement of fabric on female fashion models, the series requires a player to animate the nets by shooting a basketball through them. The Last Dance is a nod to Viktor & Rolf's wedding collection, featuring large and plentiful bows on bridal gowns. The piece shows that female athletes can be anything - including a bride.
